backAxioskop 2
Más cónfort en microscopía de rutina

The Axioskop 2 Routine Microscope provides more comfort and reliability in all fields of biological and medical routine microscopy. Equipped with tried-and-approved ICS optics, the Axioskop 2 satisfies user requirements for brilliant images on a high level and with outstanding ergonomics. The same can be said about its fast and absolutely dependable image analysis and documentation capabilities. A quadruple reflector turret with various method modules, individual adaptation of the viewing height by ergonomic viewing tubes, and the optional motorization and automation of microscope functions allow users to work for hours with undiminished productivity and exactitude.

Thanks to the new reflector turret and the new condenser, changing between microscopical techniques could not be easier. The universal condenser with seven individually loadable pockets provides optimum specimen illumination with all microscopical techniques and throughout the range of objective magnifications from 1.25x to 100x. Rotation of the reflector turret provides superfast, convenient and vibration-free selection between different method modules, e.g. for fluorescence or differential interference contrast. The HBO 103 mercury vapor lamp with its improved light output and longer service life is ideal for fluorescence microscopy.

The unique intermediate tube with height adjustment allows individual adaptation of the viewing height without changing the viewing angle. In combination with the ergonomic eyepiece tube, it provides an optimum in comfortable posture for fatigue-free microscopy.

The coded and motorized Axioskop 2 MOT version
makes routine work even more efficient. Time-consuming initial and follow-up settings are supported by servomotors. For example, condenser and illumination settings are automatically matched with the objective or method module in the beam path. A single twist of the coded objective nosepiece or reflector turret is all that is required for changing from one method to another. Parfocality setting is automatic, too. Optional control through a PC linked with the microscope further adds to convenience. The monitor constantly displays the current parameters, such as the stage coordinates. Frequently used settings can be programmed to tailor the Axioskop 2 MOTto individual user requirements.

The extremely stable stand guarantees steady images in shock-prone environments. The XY stage with its low-positioned drive knobs and the smooth, sensitive focusing action of the harmonic-drive mechanism contribute to make the use of this microscope strain-free. Standardized interfaces for tubes, stages, condensers and interchangeable optics provide compatibility with the entire range of Carl Zeiss microscopes and accessories.
